
WHAT WE DO
Northeastern Nevada SAFE is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Nevada dedicated to providing assistance to elders in guardianship cases. We are committed to safeguarding the rights and well-being of elders in our community.

SAFE Advocacy Program
The SAFE program's mission is to provide volunteer advocates to elderly persons in guardianship cases who cannot advocate for themselves.
Northeastern Nevada SAFE is dedicated to serving the elderly, assisting guardians with their duties, and giving the Court an unbiased perspective in each guardianship case we are assigned.
All of our SAFE volunteers provide a voice for each elderly individual in an assigned guardianship case.
ELDER AID
PROGRAM
Northeastern Nevada SAFE has limited funding to assist elderly individuals throughout Nevada. Applicants must be 60 and older. Applicants must have a valid government-issued I.D. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants can apply once a year. Please allow two weeks for a response/decision. SAFE may request additional information. SAFE may approve up to $500 in assistance. All decisions are final.

FOOD/ HYGIENE BAGS
Northeastern Nevada SAFE has Food and Hygiene Bags available for Nevada residents. Applicants may receive a food/hygiene bag up to one time per month.

Our organization provides guardianship support to elders and their families, offering guidance and assistance in navigating the complexities of guardianship procedures.

We raise awareness for the issues the aging and disability community face. We have a range of programs with a focus on closing the gap for individuals and families who are under-resourced and in need of guardianship assistance.
Collaborative Partnerships
We collaborate with various organizations and agencies to strengthen the support network for elders in guardianship cases.
Community Outreach
We actively engage in community outreach to raise awareness about elder guardianship issues and to provide educational resources to the public.
